The Drinking age in Canada varies according to Province
The drinking age is 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Underage drinking under adult supervision is permitted in Manitoba and Alberta, underage drinking in Quebec is legal if the container is concealed and/or if done in private.
The drinking age is 19 in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Ontario, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, Yukon, Northwest Territories, Nunavut. (Legal drinking age legislation falls under provincial jurisdiction.) Underage drinking under adult supervision is permitted in licensed premises in New Brunswick, and at home in the provinces of Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, British Columbia, Ontario and Saskatchewan.
